Lee joined Norwich City Council in November 2015 from Newport City Council where he worked on a Welsh Government anti-poverty programme. He spent 10 years at Malvern Hills as the head of economic development and another 10 at Cardiff City Council in a variety of housing roles. His current role includes the management of the City’s 15,000 council homes – the largest in the region. Lee is also a board member of ARCH the association for councils with retained housing stock. In his spare time he is chairman of Norfolk semi-professional football club Wroxham – capital of the Norfolk Broads!
