Aspect encourage all staff to be involved in our Social Value enterprises. Recently, Josh from Hartismere High School in Eye, Suffolk spent time with the teams here while on work experience. His time was split across our different areas of service provision, from surveying through to project coordination, to invoicing and accounts. The Team were able to teach Josh skills relevant to each of our roles and show him the Aspect Way. Josh said he was quite nervous at first, but by the end of the week he had really enjoyed his time with us and had been glad he could get involved with our work, not just sit and watch.
Alongside work experience, we are progressing an exciting opportunity for Aspect to work with training partners, including City College Norwich, to provide an apprenticeship scheme to be launched by the end of the year. We will offer apprenticeships across the various trade and office roles. As a team we love to pass on our skills and knowledge, as well as learn from others coming into the business. We are eager to share our experiences and are passionate about helping young people into work.
Our staff are encouraged to get involved in any aspects of social value they can including charity donations, fundraising events and giving that little bit extra for their communities and those we work in. Together we have fundraised and donated to charities including The Heritage House Day Care, Comic Relief, Children in Need and the RNLI.
